A shipment of weapons vanishes at sea. In Dakar, a joint Interpol–Senegal unit follows a trail leading to the unthinkable.
A shipment of military weapons disappears at sea without a trace. Days later, a satellite phone used during loading is located in Dakar: the weapons may be supplying terrorist organisations in the Sahel. Interpol, France and Senegal form a joint investigation unit led by Commander Léo Marcus of Interpol and his deputy, Lieutenant Ducasse, known as “La Fouine”. In Dakar, they join an elite Senegalese unit: Captain Aïssatou Bocandé, Lieutenant Damel and Warrant Officer Massamba.
Bocandé carries a childhood wound: her father's unsolved murder. The investigation converges on a name feared by intelligence agencies around the world: Le Caméléon, an elusive arms dealer—and the man who ordered the killing. The case becomes personal.
Through bloody deals, a kidnapping, an improvised bomb, a CFA 100 billion ransom and a final assault on a Dakar villa, Marcus and Bocandé hunt Le Caméléon towards an ending that leaves one question open: who was he really, and was he truly eliminated?
